How to configure email clients for your hosted email Thunderbird

Here are the steps to configure Thunderbird for your hosted email with

Open Thunderbird and go to the "Tools" menu, then select "Account Settings".

Click "Account Actions" at the bottom, then select "Add Mail Account".

Enter your details: • Your name (as you want it displayed) • Your full email address (e.g. • Your email password

Click "Continue" and Thunderbird will attempt to auto-configure based on your email address. If this fails, click "Manual config" and enter the following settings:
Incoming Server Settings:
• Server Type: IMAP
• Server Hostname:
• Port: 993
• Authentication: Normal Password
Outgoing Server Settings:
• Server Hostname:
• Port: 587
• Authentication: Normal Password

Click "Re-test" to verify the settings, then "Done".

Your hosted email is now set up in Thunderbird!

Some additional tips:
• Use IMAP rather than POP3 to keep your email synced across devices
• Enable 2-factor authentication with for added security
• Set up email filters and labels to organize your inbox
