How to configure email clients for your hosted email Apple Mail

Here are the steps to configure Apple Mail for your dotCanada.com hosted email:

Open Apple Mail and go to Mail > Preferences.

Click the "Accounts" tab.

Click the "+" button to add a new account.

Select "Add Other Mail Account" and click "Continue".

Enter the following information:
• Account Type: IMAP or POP (IMAP is recommended)
• Email Address: Your full dotCanada.com email address
• Password: Your email account password

Click "Sign In".

Configure the incoming and outgoing mail server settings:
Incoming Mail Server:
• Host Name: mail.dotcanada.com
• User Name: Your full dotCanada.com email address
• Password: Your email account password
Outgoing Mail Server:

• Password: Your email account password

Check the boxes for "Use SSL" for both incoming and outgoing servers.

Click "Continue" and then "Done" to save the settings.

Your Apple Mail is now configured to send and receive emails using your dotCanada.com hosted email account. Be sure to check your spam/junk folder occasionally in case any legitimate emails are filtered there.
