Configuring Mailbird for dotCanada.com Hosted Email

Mailbird is a popular email client that allows you to easily manage multiple email accounts from one unified inbox. To set up your dotCanada.com hosted email account in Mailbird, follow these steps:


  1. Open Mailbird and click on the "Accounts" button.


  1. Click "Add Account" and select the appropriate account type (e.g., IMAP or POP3) based on your preferences.


  1. Enter the following information:

Email Address: Your full dotCanada.com email address

Password: Your email account password

Incoming Server: mail.dotcanada.com

Outgoing Server: mail.dotcanada.com


  1. For Incoming Server settings:

Server Port: 993 (for IMAP) or 110 (for POP3)

Connection Security: SSL/TLS


  1. For Outgoing Server settings:

Server Port: 465 or 587

Connection Security: SSL/TLS
