How to retrieve email client settings in cPanel

Here are the steps to retrieve your email client settings in cPanel with

Log into your cPanel account.

In the "Mail" section, click on the "Email Accounts" icon.

Locate the email account you want to configure and click on the "More" link next to it.

Select the "Configure Email Client" option.

A new page will open displaying the following information for your email account:
• Incoming Mail Server
• Outgoing Mail Server
• Incoming Mail Protocol (POP3 or IMAP)
• Outgoing Mail Protocol (SMTP)
• Authenticated SMTP
• Ports for each protocol

Make note of these settings as you will need to enter them into your email client application (e.g. Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail) to set up your email account.

Some key points to remember:
• For incoming mail, use either POP3 or IMAP protocol settings
• For outgoing mail, use the SMTP protocol settings
• Enable authentication as required by your email client

By following these steps, you can easily retrieve the necessary server settings from your cPanel to configure your email client for sending and receiving emails through your hosted account.
