At dotCanada.com, we recommend using WordPress for creating blogs and websites. It's a popular and user-friendly content management system (CMS) that makes it easy to manage your blog. Here's how to set it up using cPanel:
Log into your dotCanada.com cPanel account.
In the "Websites" section, click on the WordPress icon or "WordPress® Manager" link.
Click on the "Install" tab at the top.
Choose the domain name or subdomain where you want to install WordPress from the dropdown menu.
Select the latest version of WordPress and your preferred language.
Click "Install This Version".
On the next screen, fill in the following details: • Site Name/Title • Admin Username (for logging into WordPress) • Admin Password • Admin Email
Click "Install" to complete the WordPress installation process.
Once installed, you'll see the WordPress admin URL. Save this URL as you'll need it to log into your new WordPress dashboard and start creating content for your blog.
